Abstract: Last several years a term Space Weather (SpWe) is already generally used to characterize the dynamical properties of the Solar-Terrestrial system. SpWe has important and continuously increasing influence on our society. It is well know that the solar phenomena are the main driver of changes in the SpWe and hence there exist strong solar wind-Earth’s magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling. Therefore it is necessary to study these phenomena from the aspect of their influence on the geomagnetic and ionospheric activity, respectively, and to identify and describe effects of the complex SpWe system on the climate, biosphere and technological systems. The contribution gives an overview of phenomena and consecutive effect of the SpWe and information about existing and future monitoring services.
