Coulomb Interaction In The So(3,2) Bag Model

Abstract: Numerical solutions for relativistic spinor fields in the SO(3,2) bag with color Coulomb interaction, representing one-gluon exchange, are studied. It is demonstrated that for reasonable values of the strong coupling constant in first approximation the spectrum shows the equal-level spacing of the harmonic oscillator. However, the radial wave functions in the origin are increased by introducing the color Coulomb interaction. Satisfactory leptonic decay widths for charmonium and bottomonium states can be obtained using the Van Royen- Weisskopf formula.
