Nuclear matter equation of state with light clusters

Abstract: In this project the equation of state of asymmetric nuclear matter at low densities and zero temperature introducing light nuclei (helion, triton, deuteron and alpha particles) was studied. The equation of state was built using the non-linear Walecka model in the mean-field approximation. The properties of nuclear matter for various asymmetry values with and without clusters were studied. The dissolution density dependence for each nucleus as a function of its coupling constants was also determined using two parametrizations of the equation of state of nuclear matter.
